I know what it’s like to feel like you don’t have the power you need.

I grew up in the projects in New Orleans and was dragged through the foster care system until they gave me my walking papers at 18 years old. I’ve been homeless. Jobless and strapped for cash. Sometimes I had to call a couch my home.
Don’t Let The Glitz and Glam Fool You.
I didn’t have a mother or father to bail me out. In fact, I had no one.
The odds were against me.
Statistically, people like me don’t make it. And according to Child Welfare Services, right now, I should still be no one. I should be entranced in baby mama drama and on welfare. I should be on the street selling my body, strung out on drugs or incarcerated.
But hear this…
✔Obstacles are NO MATCH for me. I don’t accept the “you can’t, you’ll never…” that others with limited viewpoints would like to assign as my reality, and neither should you.
✔It doesn’t matter what the WORLD believes about you. What matters is what YOU believe about you.
✔I believed in myself, and I rose to the top, literally without a penny to my name. Breaking down walls and defying stereotypes. That’s what I do. You have a SUPER big head start compared with where I was. So just imagine how far you can rise!
